Privacy Notice for the Grade Web Server
This Privacy Notice explains what personal data is collected by the specific
Global Phasing Ltd service you are requesting, for what purposes, how
it is processed, and how we keep it secure.

2. What is our lawful basis for processing your personal data?
We need your consent to process your personal data.
If you do not consent to us processing your personal data, we will not
be able to provide you access to the service.
3. What personal data do we collect?
The Grade Web Server collects the following personal data:
- Your name and email address.
- The IP address you are accessing the Grade Web Server from.
In addition to personal data, the Grade Web Server uses information about the
molecule you submit. Molecular data is not personal and so is not subject to
this notice.
4. How will your personal data be used?
We need your consent to process your personal data.
The Grade Web Server uses your personal data for the following purposes:
- To provide the user access to the service
- To better understand the needs of the users and guide future improvements of the service
- To create anonymous usage statistics
5. Who will have access to your personal data?
The personal data will only be disclosed to authorised Global Phasing staff and subcontractors.
6. Will your personal data be transferred to third countries (i.e. countries not part of EU/EAA/UK) and/or international organisations?
There are no personal data transfers to third countries.
There are no personal data transfers to international organisations.
7. How long do we keep your personal data?
Any personal data directly obtained from you will be retained as long as
the service is live, even if you stop using the service. We will keep the
personal data for the minimum amount of time possible to ensure legal
compliance and to facilitate internal and external audits if they arise.
- Web and download logs containing personal data (e.g. IP address etc.) are kept for
30 days to assist with user support, debugging and potential security issues.
- After 30 days, these data reports produced are anonymized and kept for reporting
purposes for previous and current years.
- Access to the raw logs is restricted to designated Global Phasing staff and subcontractor.
- All results files and logs with associated name/email address
are deleted within 30 days of job submission.
8. What are your data protection rights?
Global Phasing Ltd would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights.
Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access - You have the right to request Global Phasing Ltd for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
- The right to rectification - You have the right to request that Global Phasing Ltd correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Global Phasing Ltd to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
- The right to erasure - You have the right to request that Global Phasing Ltd erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that Global Phasing Ltd restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to Global Phasing Ltd's processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
- The right to data portability - You have the right to request that Global Phasing Ltd transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
